Who am I?
As the parent of a child with a rare disease, I understand how difficult it is to figure out how to get support. When my child was first diagnosed, I needed to learn as many systems as I could, as quickly as I could, and I felt alone in the process. As I learned to navigate the processes, I began helping other families.
My mission is to walk alongside individuals with disabilities and their families as they navigate challenging systems, ensuring no one faces their struggles alone. I'm currently the Chair of In-Home Supportive Services Advisory Board, Santa Clara County, a member of the Self-Determination Advisory Committee Member, San Andreas Regional Center (SARC), a training facilitator for Parents for Change Advocacy Training, Parents Helping Parents, and a group facilitator for the Rare Diseases Care Giver Support Group.
